I made a card box for my wedding. It looked like a big sand castle and I spray painted it with rough looking spray paint from Michaels and it looked great! Everybody loved it

Yep, same here. would love to see it. I'm trending more towards the boat/shell theme, but anything beachy at this point would fit and then I can adapt as needed.

Re: Beach themed card box help please
thx portjeff bride for info.
here is the card box from hamptonsbride's DIY album...she did such an amazing job on all her DIY projects and has a ton of great ideas in her albums. she redid a box to make it into a card box and it sounds like a pretty in depth project but maybe we can try to do something similar. I wish. Ill prob just settle for buying something.
I made, well purchased a three tiered cake card box, then spent a bit on heart embrodered tooling and tons of sea shell and starfish, and encased the entire cake with it, thats all you see is shells. It came out really nice but took a really long time to make, along with getting burned by the darn glue gun too, but it was all worth it and its crossed off my list, my printed just broke, its brand new, so I purchased a new one, will take a picture of it and put it on this site for you by monday at the latest.
