Beach Wedding

Can anyone suggest a place where we can have a reception on a beach or overlooking a beach (easy accces to.) I don''''t mean a reception hall like The Cresent Beach Club, but a place where we can set up a tent on the beach or nearby and have it catered. Thanks!

Try contacting the State Parks Department

They might be able to help you out. The ladies there were very helpful when we needed to get permits to have our photos taken at Belmont Lake State Park, and they might be able to answer questions and assist you in trying to find a beach. Try these numbers: 631-669-2500 631-699-1000 They are to the LI State Parks & Recreation Administrative Offices, which is located at Belmont Lake State Park on Belmont Avenue. Good Luck!

Beach Wedding

Try the Bridgehampton Surf Club. A while back a girl named Andrea posted to me about it when I was looking for a Hampton location. Do a search and you should be able to find the posts. I didn't go inside, but I saw the outside, and it's right on the beach. It is not a fancy place, but perfect for what your describing. Good luck!

Try this...

contact the parks dept. in each town (Town of Oyster Bay, Town of Babylon for example) & depending on when you want to set it up, it may be available. I was just involved in an event staged right on the beach. Keep in mind the expense. Some of the basics & not as nice as you would need for a wedding ran in the neighborhood of $12,000 without caterer.

Crow's Nest In Montauk

The Crow's Nest catered my rehearsal dinner right on the beach. 2 tents, bar-B-Que and bonfire. It was a lot of fun and my guests loved it. There is an extensive website for Crow's Nest.
