Can you recommend a beach location for a wedding? The wedding will be small, about 75 people. Already saw Southhampton Inn, and Atlantica.
My future SIL really wants to be married on a beach.

Gurney's Inn? I would recommend Land's End, but their mininum is higher than 75 Chateau La Mer (Lindenhurst) and the Riviera (Massapequa) are also popular RHs on the water but I don't know their mininum...

Are Chateau and Riviera on the beach?

Re: Beach Wedding Locations
If she's willing to head out east, she could get married by the Montauk Point Lighthouse; When my brother looked into it, it was really affordable & for a small intimate wedding. The only reason they didn't do it was because they didn't want to inconvience anyone traveling far with having to find a place to stay.
She could also get married at the Riviera in Massapequa. They have a beautiful area outside next to the water that has a garden & gazebo... it's very very pretty!
Chateau La Mer also has an area outside to be married which is very pretty

Crescent Beach Club has a set-up right on the beach, not sure what their minimum is but I'm sure they'd even lower it for a daytime wedding (which I'd probably want to have if I wanted to get married on the beach).

Re: Beach Wedding Locations
Gurneys, Crescent and Atlantica are the only ones that do beachfront ceremonies that are standard catering places...
Mines on the beach but its a rooftop ceremony.
We were set on the beach ceremony but kinda gave up after seeing the options.

All the beach places -- Lands End, Crescent and Atlantica have much higher minimums -- I looked. Riviera, Venetian Yacht Club, Chateau La Mer, Harbour Club and Thatched Cottage are all on bodies of water, but not the beach. I really wanted a beach wedding too -- but it was just soooo much more expensive, we couldn't justify it - -what if it rained, and we paid so much more for this place, and then the ceremony was moved inside anyway? We chose Thatched Cottage, which is on the water, with beautiful grounds. They had an inside ceremony room that I really liked in case of emergency. It didn't rain and our outside ceremony was beautiful. We did have a 125 minimum (after negotiating, they started at 150) for a Sunday afternoon. I think all the places had a minimum like that. Maybe if you tried a Thursday night, or maybe a restaurant on the bay in the Hamptons? Dockers is a great casual restaurant on the bay in West Hampton. I don't know, maybe they'd close down for a wedding? Can't hurt to ask. Also, maybe look on Craigslist for house rentals in the Hamptons? If you rent a house on the beach for a week or weekend, you can have it there. That may end up getting really expensive. My sister only had 36 people at her wedding, and had it at Pier 92 Restaurant in Rockaway Beach, queens. It was outside on the bay. What I didn't like was that the restaurant was still open, and there were people eating inside while my sister was getting married outside. When I looked at Bridgeview yacht club, they told me that some people got permits and got married on Long Beach, and then had the reception there. Good luck!
they dont do receptions here, but its a beautiful spot for a ceremony.

I got married in Hampton Bays at The Inn Spot on the Bay...it's located on Shinnecock Bay...not a 'beach' location but right on the water...check out my album or review for more pics
Did u check the Montauk Yacht Club? It's beautiful! FH and I go there for wkend getaways in nice weather. They do weddings, can book hotel and have excellent restaurants! And there's lots to do in the immediate area. It's not too far from Gurney's actually.....
