beaches of LI

beaches of LI

hey girls,

as you all know, i live in pa!! however, FH & I are looking into going to the beach this summer...id like to come to long island..

the only problem, we have a 70 pound black lab that we gotta bring..

does anyone have any suggestions as to where we could stay that will allow our puppy???

every beach i have ever been to had huge signs saying no dogs allowed. i only remember this because we would always see the sign and say to whoever i was with 'you're not allowed in'

The only one on this list i've been to is the state park in east islip. It's huge and has beach/ walking 'hiking' paths/ and lots of other things.

I know FBIL brings his dog to Long Beach a lot.

ETA: he has a 2 year old golden lab...so she's pretty big.

If you go to long beach just be careful, my FH and I were there a few weekends ago when it was nice out and they were giving tickets to people with dogs on the boardwalk.
