Beaches on the North Fork

Beaches on the North Fork

We are looking for a good beach to get pics taken before the ceremony. It does not seem like there are public beaches out there - but I'm not sure.

Any East End girls know where I can take beach pics?
Thanks!

They are pretty much all rocky beaches. My bf got married at the meadow club & we took pictures at West Meadow Beach in Setauket/Stony Brook area. There are a bunch of beaches... Port Jeff / Mt Sinai /Sound Beach

We are all the way out - I'm getting ready at a house on Orient Point!

Is that a public beach?

Hey Ryanna, there are beaches along the area that Raphael is in (within like 5-10 minutes) - I'm just not sure which ones are private and which ones public. I know someone who lives out there so I'll ask and let you know what I hear.

the light house is public and so is the beach at the light house. Just a lot of steps to get to the beach. I like this part of the beach because of the buffs and rocks

Another nice beach in Southhold is Goldsmiths innlet.

Even on the ride to your hall from Orient - part of the road has water on both sides of it. That would be really interesting.

one more place, Orient state park, I think. it is right before the ferry. Its a really nice ride and is pretty. Has trees plus the beach

We have a summer home in Southold on the beach and I think you should definitely try the beaches in that area since its pretty close to Raphael! The one by the Southold lighthouse would be real nice....

I second the vote for Goldsmiths Inlet in Peconic (I grew up a block from there I wish I was getting married close enough to take pics there.....

If you drive out a bit towards Orient Point, there's a beautiful public beach. I think it's in Greenport. And then in Southold there's a public beach. You have to drive through a residential area to get to it, so you'd almost think it's not there. I will double check the name of the road you have to go down to get to it. I live out near Southold, so if you have any other questions, let me know.
