Beach/Island Travel Theme

Hi Guys!!
Maybe you can help me with the beach/island theme I had in mind...

I wanted to have start with travel tickets as the invitations as well as postcards for responses (saves on postage).

I also wanted to have a map of the different islands that would be my seating chart. Each island would be one of the tables.

Can you tell I love beaches??

The head table would be Greece or Costa Rica (where we got engaged) and all the other beaches we have visited (Dominican republic, mexico... and the ones we hope to go to)

I also want to have sand or fish as my centerpieces..

Any other ideas?

we had a beach wedding. For favors, we gave out beach towels tied up with tulle.

you could have sand dollars or star fish as your placecards

definitely aqua and ivory/sand would be the colors for the wedding party

for your table names or numbers you can write the names/numbers in the sand... take pictures and frame them

Great idea!

We are going to have a friend take non-pro e-pics of us when we go on a cruise in april to use for our STD's!

A friend of mine did that. She went to walmart and got beautiful large towels with starfish on them after the summer was over for about 2.00 each (they weer in sets of three)

clearance is awesome!

we bought towels by the dozen from here:

and then I bought tulle at Michaels to wrap them up with. I bought name badge inserts from Staples & printed our monogram & thank you on them & tied them to the towels.
