i don't have a pic, but my sis just went to a wedding w/ that theme and they used gel candles w/ seashells and rocks already built into the candle holder. I can't find a pic but hope that helps.

We actually got that as a gift from my aunt for our engagement. It's really nice. Chrissy, if you want let me know and i'll take a pic of it for you. I think she got it from Fortunoff.
These are from the Beach Bride Bio (which has amazing cakes! )

I love the idea of combining the beach theme with flowers. Any other photo suggestions?

Re: beachy centerpieces
This is my roomate's CP's from college. Each table had a beach unbrella with candles and 'dune like' greenery with hygrangea and roses. It looked SO good in the room with each table decorated
This is where the place card holders were set up. They were the drink umbrellas with tags on them stuck in the sand. SO COOL!! My batteries died on my camera, so I had to take a pic at the end of the night when the umbrellas were already taken
Unfortunately, I don't have a pic but I can share an idea....
I have been to a wedding where the bottom of the centerpieces (that should have been the flowerpot) was a fish bowl with real FISH!...They were high centerpieces and the flowers were on the top with votives around the fish bowl, it looked SO pretty!!!!
Good luck

I haven't made mine yet, but I will have pictures soon. I am using a large fluted vase. Inside will be sand and seashells/starfish/sand dollars/sea urchins. Then I will fill it almost to the top and add 3 small floating candles. I am also toying with the idea of using food coloring to make the water blue. I also want to use fishermen's net as a runner underneath...it's in the works and I will get a pix to you in the future...if I forget, remind me : ) Maria 9/17/05
