Hi ! I just got engaged last Friday and me and my fiance are looking for venues for preferrably June 2013. Can anyone recommend any beachy/vintagey places? We looked at Ocean Bleu in Westhampton and loved it but it might be too small. We want a very light and airy place. We are going to check out Glen Cove Mansion as well. Any suggestions? Thanks !

Venetian Yacht Club, Chateau la Mer and The Rivera are all on the water.

Check out the Bourne Mansion! It's an old mansion on the water and has a beach. It definitely has the vintage seaside vibe you were going for. I fell in love with Oceanbleu as well but it was too small for me too. You should also check out the Crescent Beach Club- it isn't vintage but definitely beachy!

Try West Sayville Country Club- MeadowEdge. It is right next to the maritime museum so you have the boats and dock. The venue itself is an old mansion- but depending on your wedding size, it could be a little small- worth checking out. Steve is amazing and will work with you. Good luck on your search!

I am in the same boat I have viewed like 20 places I am going to lose my mind before I find a venue that we like and fits our budget. We fell in love with Land's End but it's just not in our budget :( If you want vintage the wineries out east do weddings now I have viewed martha clara's they have a cute set up it just did not fit my finance and I idea of venue.

Check out Oceanbleu in Westhampton. Very beachy, airy, clean, light.

I had a beachy themed wedding and was also looking for a light and airy place, I ended up booking the Bellport Country Club. I would check it out. I believe it can hold 300 or 325. FYI Old Field Club cannot accommodate a large wedding.
