Beastie Boys Concert Tonight

heh, this is a little embarassing but I'm going to the Beastie Boys concert tonight at the Coliseum and I've never been to a concert before. Ever.

What should I wear? What should I bring?

Don't bring anything because they will most likely search everyone going in ... you'll be better off.

And clothes, I am always all about comfort.

I had no idea they were there tonight!!! I can see the Coliseum from my cube! (And I'm an old time Beastie fan ... a friend dated one of them in HS and we were at a bar together ...)

They just added the show a few weeks ago. Where do you work? I probably pass your office on my way home everyday!

i say only bring your wallet, put it in your jacket. we saw pearl jam at the coliseum in 2003 and by the end of the night, my purse was filled w/beer - not from me. and it stunk to high heaven.

as far as clothes, jeans, sneakers, etc. just like you would wear hanging out on the weekend.

First of all, you couldn't have picked a better first concert (unless of course it was Dave Matthews.) They were actually on Conan O'Brian last night and they were awesome. But as for what to wear, just wear jeans and a tank top with a sweater or sweatshirt over it. I would leave your jacket in the car if you can because it's just one more thing to misplace or forget about. Bring a purse that you're not likely to loose, maybe a wristlet. And bring plenty of money for food, beer and souvenirs if you want some.
