BECAREFUL where you get your nails done!!!

Hey Brides!!! OK, I'm just writing to warn you all about nail salons and their carelessness. I recently got my nails done at a nail salon here in Suffolk County and have been in the hospital for the past 3 days for a very bad infection in my finger. Apparently, the nail salon isn't as clean as they claim!! Besides being very very painful, it's gross b/c my finger is swollen, hot and pussing!! How gross!!! I'm supposed to be going on vacation with my FH and hope that this infection clears up soon!!! This is probably the most painful thing I've ever had to endure. Pleas please please, make sure you know the nail salon and they have a great reputation!! (I made the mistake of going to a nail salon I knew little about b/c my regular nail lady was booked. Sory for the long post, but I'd hate to see any of you girls going through this!! Enjoy your weekend!!!

you always hear stories but never to anyone i personally know (or see online anyway )

could you fm me with the name too - I just started getting my nails done and the first time I went they really f'ed them up and when I went back to get a touch up they actually apologized to me and did them again because the girl did such a bad job.

OMG@!!!! Please FM me also with this place, primarily because I am freaking out because I will not be able to have my regular lady do my nails becuase she is in FL!!! I don't know of any place to get my nails filled on LI because I haven't lived there in years! I would hate to go where you went by mistake!

I went for a french manicure at the same place I always go and I know all the ladies. Well they had a girl in training who did a terrible job. The shop all speaks Korean but she speaks only Spanish and noone knew what anyone was saying. I couldnt even communicate with her. It was frustrating.

Can someone recommend a good clean place in the medford area. I want to try silk wraps.

I went to a nail salon in Suffolk, they are closed now, but the guy was hurting me and made me bleed. When I kept pulling my hand away he told me to stop moving...I said HELLO? YOU ARE MAKING ME BLEED! OMG! the nerve. I stick to the 2-3 nail salons I know here in Nassau.
