I wouldn't let him have it yet. Its a wedding gift that you wanted to give him around the time of the wedding. Just because he knows about it, doesn't mean he should get it now! How many times do you know what some of your Christmas presents are - but you have to wait to get them!

Well you can look at it this way I guess: Since he's so happy with his bigscreen, then he'll definitely get you a GREAT wedding gift

Sorry you werent able to keep it a surprise! Men and their big screen tv's!!

I bought my FI one after we got engaged. When we bought our house I wanted a ring and he wanted the wide screen tv. Well I got my ring so it was only right for me to buy him his TV. I had it delivered when he was at work and surprised him with it when he came home. He was like a little boy in a candy store

i'm sorry your surprised was ruined...

we tried to do that to my parents...while we were at the RD dinner...my BIL was going to go and put in the TV...

2 months before their TV broke and my mom said that she was going TV shopping over the weekend...I talked her out of it...

We went over that weekend with the new TV...and while we were bringing it in...my parents pulled up...oh well

Sorry your surprise was ruined...

I promised FI when he proposes I would buy him a big screen TV. He proposed and he said he still wants the TV but he wants it when we go to FL because we have no room for it here in the apartment. He wants that to be our first piece of furniture when we have the new house. I figure the surprise in FL will be when it arrives
