Because I haven't complained about FBIL in a while...

He told us that his date will most likely be the 19th of June down in DC... which is the day before I am in the BP for one of my best friend's weddings... OH WELL. Guess I can't make it.

But I love how they're planning and talking to vendors but he hasn't even proposed yet. RUSH MUCH?????

Yeah... he was loving the bachelor lifestyle until FH and I got engaged and then all of a sudden he was in overdrive to find 'the one.' Every girl he met on eHarmony he would tell us he thought she was the one... this one is as desperate as he is and apparently they have to get married right away. They met in October. I'm sure if you search my posts you'll find lots of fun stories about him and FMIL...

You shouldn't let it bother you. Your relationship is REAL and his is obviously not. If he really feels the need to get married before you, then just let it be. He will be miserable once he is married and no longer in competition with you.

We figured he was because he was badgering us to come visit with her (we have yet to say yes) but then when Randy kept asking him about the date he said most likely it looks like the 19th and he just ordered the ring online.

But FH just realized that he is going to have to male a speech and he has only met this girl once. What is he going to say?

LOL!! I am sorry I have been keeping you in suspense. After he acted like a child at Christmas and insulted our house at every turn I avoided having any contact with him.

I'm sure as his engagement and wedding approach I will have more awesome stories.
