What are you doing with your dogs the day of? We are going to be gone for about 10 hours and I think that is too long to leave Hershey home alone. He has never been alone that long.

I felt horrible to leave my little girl alone, but we put out extra food, water, left the tv on, put out some wee wee pads and she was fine.

i dont have a dog.. i have a ferret, so she'll be fine in her cage. its my parents dog we have to worry about. i think he's just going to ask the neighbors to let her out before they head over to the reception. that is, IF she goes out. usually when we ask the neighbor she barks at him. so he usually gives up. i don't blame him, why wrestle with a 150+lb dog.
if she doesn't have to go, she doesn't have to go.

My dogs stayed home. We went over in the morning and fed/walked them and left extra food and water out.
They were just fine, they are troopers though!

OH god who knows lol. This has been one of the biggest issues. I could naturally board him overnight but I want him in pictures with me the day of. But then there's no way to get him to the boarder then. There is a vet around the block from the hotel so maybe that'll work.

Shaun was at our house with Jessie until 3:30... then we had a friends younger sister come over at 5 and watch her...
My sister watched her for our HM.

im actually thinking of my parents dog too. our reception and everything is close to home, but still, who wants to leave and check on the dog?

not sure yet- I think FH will be home in the morning but then probably we'll have our walker take him for the day, and then FILs will keep him when we go on our HM

Thanks ladies! We will be leaving for the church at 3 and the reception starts at 7. I'm thinking maybe I could ask my neighbor to let him out before they leave around 6:30. That would leave him home alone only for about 6 or 7 hours. I think he can handle that.

My dog....well, technically he's my parent's dog....will be home alone all day. We're having an afternoon wedding, and my parents are staying in a hotel, so unless my brother comes home that night, poor Scooter will just have to use his wee wee pads (6 years old and he still uses them).
As for the cat, he's just getting a bowl of water and extra food. He been alone lots of times.

FH and the guys will be at our house till 2 when the limo picks them up. My older brother and his gf will be staying at our house the night of the wedding so they will only be alone for a few hours.
I'm more worried about the HM. My younger brother is going to stay at our house the whole week which is great so they won't be alone all the time. I'm not working right now so they're never alone all day long so, my brother going to work everyday will be new for them.

Well my babies will walk down the aisle with me, then someone will need to bring them home after the ceremony since they're not allowed iinside the hall. Still looking for that person.. anybody interested?? Will pay! Then my grandparents from OOT will be staying at my house so they'll go home to them.

Our dog and IL's dog were with DH in the morning and then he had a co-worker come to our apt and watch them. DH works at a doggy daycare btw lol

I hate thinking about this one. at this point, my older dog (14) is going to my parents and staying until im back from my honeymoon. problem is..yes...they're out all day too so have no idea what to do on that one.
my younger pit mix is going to the kennel the day before. I;m heartbroken about this one bc my parents cant handle her. shes nuts w their cats. I'm so afraid she's going to think I abandoned her.
