In the span of ten minutes, I've become obsessed with vintage brooch bouquets.

I'm torn though; I really had my heart set on using orange gerbera daisies and I think that those are a) lighter to hold and b) easier to deal with.

i know right.

for me, if i can make it affordable... its a know brainer.

real flowers are so pretty but they DIE and get smashed and... ugh. they die. dying is big with me. a big no.

and i mean, i dont HAVE to have flowers for the reception but ... i want them for the cake table.

and if i can have something i can keep anyways?

I called the lady and this is the deal.

She said its $350 for her to put it together with YOUR items. You have to collect 50-60 items. Brooches, earring, cufflinks or whatever you want. Then you send those to her. And she puts it together.

I like that it would be personalized with my stuff but *** thats a lot of money if you have to pay for the stuff EXTRA.

She said they aren't really heavy. It takes her about 10 days to make and get the bouquet to you from the time she gets your items.

I feel sad.

Let's find someone else who makes them.

last time i checked she had like, kits to do it yourself. you may want to start going to thrift shops looking for buttons and try doing it yourself.
