has this happened to anyone here? we registered at bb&b in farmingdale. so things are coming off now (whoot whoot!) but there seems to be a problem.
my fbil's gf went to buy us a gift off the registry. she looked online and decided what to get b/c it wasn't bought yet. went to the store in westbury, printed the registry and it was bought. got soemthing else, went home to check and online it shows as available. her and my fmil were comparing the 2 registries, one at westbury, the other at farmingdale. some things matched, but they were different. this happen to anyone? what, if anything, can be done?

Yeah, someone had bought us something off of our registry online, and when I checked the registry it still said available. Whats teh deal?

They have to scan the registry also. That is how it comes off. Just have that person call or you can call them and they will do it right then and there.
If the item is purchased with out telling the cashier the item is off the registry it will not come off.

i think its more of a glitch on their end b/c its not like its bought and not scanned, its showing up as available on line, but not on the printed store registry. and vise versa.

That's weird, I've never heard of that happening.
Maybe it's a timing issue, they might not update the online registry or the registry at the other store instantly?

same thing happened with ours and when we called it was just a matter of how the cashier scanned...but I know fortunoff has issues like that also-that the store updates but not the online version

same here, during my engagement party I was getting double of things. The online account needs to be updated. I have to keep calling them to tell them.

this is what i think too. the online registry and the store registry are not communicating. i don't know how to fix it, b/c i don't know what was bought. thanks ladies
