Bed Bath & Beyond Shipping Problems

Anyone have any problems with the shipping of gifts from your BB & B registry? Before my shower, I receved a completely smashed up crystal bowl and just today I received a box of knives that were not even the knives that I had on my registry. The receipt in the box had the right order, but the actual stuff in the box was wrong.

They have been pretty good about making up for the mistakes, but It's still kind of annoying. What kind of bozos are packaging this stuff?

They are the only place we have had repeated problems with.

Fortunoff: we had a 6 bottle wine celler, it came in a beat up box and had a small dent in it but wasn't worth the hassle of a return since we are about 1000 miles from NY right now and they dont have stores anywhere out here. It works fine.

Crate & Barrel: They pack things amazingly well, almost everything we got from them was glassware and nothing has broken. (Except for the martini glass i knocked off the kitchen table... but that was my fault). Highly recommend them for shipping, but their items go out of stock or get discontinued so quickly!!!!

Bed Bath & Beyond: they do a horrible job of packing things. They just throw things into boxes without being wrapped well or in some cases at all. We got the creamer and sugar from our China set and BOTH were broken. We got a broken place setting, and just an hour ago we got the bonus soup bowls from the place settings (took about 3 months to get here) and one is broken. They took one piece of bubble wrap and circled it around a few times. THIS IS CHINA!!!! I'm sure it didn't help that the box was crushed in, but it was in a tiny flimsy BBB box inside of the cardboard.

BBB needs to learn from Crate & Barrel. This hits home since it just happened again!!!!
