Bed, Bed and Beyond returns

Do they accept returns without a reciept? FH and I have this bathroom set that he bought, um, three years ago for his friend's wedding (it was an OOT wedding and he didn't feel like hauling the gift, so he wrote them a check instead). Everything is still in boxes or wrapped up in tissue paper, LOL. I need pillows, and was wondering if I return it in the big silver BBaB box and say it was a shower gift they would let me return it...

They'll probably give you a merchandise credit if they have the original tags on them, but if it was three years ago, the sku number will probably come up as clearance and not be worth much. But you wont know til you try!

i returned some housewarming gifts and they gave me back CASH!!!!!

They only give cash if it is on your registry. What you could do is go in and say you are the bride or groom from the wedding and tell them you just started using stuff for your new house and want to return it. Then they will look it up on the bride or grooms name and give you back the cash. Its propably a little wrong, but at least you'll get the full amount back.

I just got back and I was able to return everything!! I just said it was a gift and left a couple of things wrapped in the BBaB tissue paper and got store credit. Yay, it's like found money!!
