If you don't mind me asking, around how much is everyone's bedroom set that they registered for (or at least just the comforter/quilt)? FH and I have been having trouble finding something we really like. We finally found a set, but the comforter alone is like $400!! I think it is too much $$$....What do you girls think? I'm usually a bed in a bag girl, so maybe that is why I feel this way! LOL Is this a typical price?

My whole set is about 470.00. Includes comforter,pillow cases, bed shirt ,sheets, throw pillows. If you love something then register for it!

i had that problem i couldnt find anything reasonable in price. So what i did was i went to kohls and bought the comforter bed skirt and pillow shams myself and solved that problem. I didnt register at kohls and they had the only one i like which was reasonable. I love a bargain. So i put some extra sheets and stuff on my registry.

It can depend on what you are looking for. My FH and just got one for an engagement present, so we didn't have to worry about that.

Your not alone, I think our set costs almost $600. We don't think we'll actually get it so we got a cheaper set, that honestly I hate, but FH liked. I'm hoping to get some of the pieces and use the 10% off as well as the percentage of money we get back when people buy off our registry, to buy the rest.

MIne was $200. If you want it register for it. The worst that happens is that you dont get it. Somtimes family will get your big priced items and or people will go in on it together. I got most of my big priced items I was not sure that if I was going to get.

The set we registered for with Fortunoff's is really pricey. Over $1000 for the entire set
I also registered for a set at Crate and Barrel which is around $400.
Both sets are piece by piece so if one person gets the sheets and another buys the pillow cases it's not that pricey for each person.
