Bedding

I give up. Now my bedding is being discontinued. I'm so angry...my shower invites didn't go out yet, and I still have almost 3 full months till the shower. Do you think I should switch or take my chances?

It figures, after I finally found something I really liked that wasn't so over the top.

I would switch it - I know on my registry anything that is being discontinued i change right away - but i stll have a while before my shower

I hate registries for this reason. It keeps happening to me too. I would say take it off, wait until its close and find something you like then, unless you are so in love with it that you are willing to just go buy it yourself, which sadly is what we are doing since we can't find a place to register for ours now that Fortunoffs is gone.

I would keep that bedding on there but also register for a new one.. This way if the one you like is discontinued by the time of your shower, it just wont be on the registry.. I only say this because a) My MOH bought my bedding WAY before the shower so you never know when they will buy it for you and b) I love love LOVE bedding and that was the only thing on my registry I was greedy with!

Im so sorry that happened!!

I would say take it off and register for another one... I hate that about BBB, I feel like every other day- something else is getting discontinued...its really annoying!

I say keep it... I wanted a towel spa and about 3 months before my shower it got discontinued and it wasn't available online at all. One day in April I went into a BBB and found 3 of them in the clearance section and bought it for myself...so you never know maybe someone will find it.

I say take it off, because if not all of it is bought, you might not be able to complete the set yourself.

That's why they told us to hold off on bedding and towels and all that until the last minute because collections come in and out with seasons. I don't even have anything on mine yet, still.

Either change or if you want it REALLY bad, just get it for yourself :O)

Try Home Goods, they have something similiar to that pattern. It's frustrating, I have the same problem when it comes to stuff that I like also--either they ran out or they don't have the size I want.

i had the same thing happen to me!! my mom offered to buy me the bedding now b4 its completely discontinued but im just gonna switch it, i felt so bad bc shes spending too much already!

Well, I'm not 100% yet, I'm going to verify it in the store. But on the regular website it's on sale, and doesn't say anything about clearance, but underneath each item on the registry it says 'limited quantities available', yet they are all in stock, so I'm assuming that means discontinued. Bah! I looked earlier for alternates, and I don't see anything I like, and we really can't be spending 395 (sale price only) extra right now.

I fell in love with mine and it was discontinues shortly thereafter. So we bought it ourself.

I would just switch it out. Something like that happened to me i had registered online and alot of the stuff i registered for weren't available instore so i had to switch out a ton of stuff.

Switch it- I'm going through the same thing but...when I went to bloomies I saw they had some in stock in-store so I'm going to wait till it runs out then switch it.
