Does anyone actually use the flat sheet? I have, but for the most part don't. Just curious.

Thats funny.. I never use the flat sheet.. I only use the comforter.. flat sheets get washed and put away in the linen closet. I would however make a bed up for a guest with the flat sheet.

I hate them FH love them. It stays on his side of the bed. We don't share blankets very well.

Gotta have a flat sheet!!! I feel 'weird' sleeping without one. Plus, it's nice when you get too warm at night, you can just keep the flat sheet over you instead of a blanket.
My trouble lately is finding fitted sheets with deep enough pockets to fit my bed! The bed is at least 18 inches deep! Most sheets fit up to 15 inches.

Karen - I have that problem too. I find that all Martha Stewart sheets (even the regular ones) fit the deep mattress.

I always use a flat sheet because it's what I'm accustomed to, but FH and I have serious blanket issues because he hardly sleeps with a comforter and I love them.

Sometimes I am sorry I have the deep mattress for this reason, but I am seeing more of the deep pockets selection.

i hate the flat sheet too. inevitably it ends up at the bottom of the bed so i've stopped using it. we didn't even put them on our registry.

Karen - I use her regular sheets and they fit over our deep pocket mattress perfect without coming off. I dont know the depth of our mattress though, but just that it needs deep pocket sheets. Her pima cotton sheets are so soft.

I hate flat sheets and so does DH so for us they are pointless- we will use them to go on a picnic!
