Bedroom Sets - Mfg's

I am looking for a bedroom set. I had a set all picked out (just a couple weeks ago) and we were planning to buy it in January and of course I just found out it is discontinued (it was by Thomasville). I am so upset...so now I am back to the drawing board. I am looking around online first and then I will head to the stores...What mfg's fo you like/recommend?

I have looked at Thomasville, American Drew, Stanley, Lexington and Broyhill so far.

Stickley

Their metropolitan collection is really nice and modern.

My dad makes custom.. so if you really like the one you picked out, he could probably knock it off for you. He's been in business more than 20 years and is on Sunrise in Copiage next to furn-a-kit and next to Milburn Carpet (called Oak Furniture- Dynamic Wood Design)

Thanks everyone.. I am checking some of those out now!

tammy - which Stanley set do you have? I saw one on that site that we may check out. Our NC dealer recommended Stanley, Lexington and American Drew as most similar to Thomasville.

Thanks Tammy - pretty. I think we want to do something similar - maybe a brass (or similar bed) and just buy the peices from another set. Thanks!

Sorry to hear that Denise... Mine has been discontinued as well (although I do have it already), seems they are discontinuing a lot of things.

Have you tried Ethan Allen or how about The Place on 110?

Thanks Lauren - I think Thomasville is planning on introducing some new lines soon (from what I was told) and that is why they are discontinuing the old...but I think late spring is when they are thinking of introducing them and I really want to buy in January and get my master bedroom renovations going! I have looked in the Place and Ethan Allen awhile ago and didn't see anything I liked. Guess I can try again - but you know when you heart is set on something! lol

Totally understand Denise, I'm sorry it's discontinued. Have you tried any places in NC for that set? What set is it again? You showed me once but I forgot

Maybe you can find it in NC somewhere
