been busy

i've been soo busy that i haven't logged on here for quite sometime now... i miss you ladies!!!! so who can give me juicy updates on what i've missed?

btw. fh and i started taking our salsa/mambo classes in the city. that's the fun part....

two weeks before that, i got hit by a bke... yes, a bike!!!! it was time for us to walk so while i was crossing, at the middle of the street a speeding bike hit me! he was so fast that we both flew!!! i ended up right at the middle of the intersection. good thing there were no cars coming!!! i fell on my back. it was ssooooo painful!!!!!! an EMT had to pick me up coz i cannot walk coz of the pain. i had bruises on my elbows and legs. - btw. that's me crying and slapping the guy at the bike! LOL

i feel so much better now but i still get pains once in a while. i think the most painful thing now is... i got the bill!!!!! it's $800

OMG!! Good thing you weren't more seriously hurt!!! I don't take pain very well so I would have been crying too.

OMG...glad you're okay and can laugh about it now...I have to say...it is kinda funny from where I'm standing...getting hit by a bike...LOL...

it was pretty funny... i still cant believe i freaking got hit by a bike!!!! for someone who is soo careful in crossing the streets, i get hit. it's one of those messenger guys who does not stop at any light. he was so fast, he didn't have time to stop. he would either hit the guy or the girl behind me... so he chose to hit me instead.

when i called fh, he thought i was kidding. i said no... pick me up from the emergency room. my whole family was laughing!!!! but when they saw me crawl down the stairs, they realized i was really in pain. well, just my luck!!!!

omg thank goodness you're okay!!!!!!! $800 bill???? i was just in the ER couple of weeks ago...hope my bill doesn't come out to that high do you have insurance????

I do. I am actually trying to see if it's going to be covered but since there was a police report and the guy was a messenger, the company's insurance of where he works is supposed to pay for it. Honestly, I don't want to go through the hassle in looking for a lawyer. FH is trying to see if we can resolve it in other ways.
