Been crying my eyes out all day...

My poor uncle is not doing well. I wanted to go see him since he was going to come to my wedding. I even brought him a favor, but took it back with me and told him I want him to come to my wedding. My dad told him he's at Table 8. Unfortunately, we're telling this to a man who wasn't conscious the whole time we were there. I had to be there for him, no matter what I have to do this week. He had so many tubes coming out of him. This guy who loved life is just lying there. He has infections and needs blood transfusions. My mom told me this morning she didn't even think he would make it through the day. I'm praying to God for a miracle. We even had a priest come in to pray with us over him. So emotional and upsetting. I just feel so guilty that I haven't seen him in such a long time... since our Engagement Party last year... and it took him being in the hospital for me to see him. I feel like I slacked on being a niece to him. It's hard because my mom has six brothers, but I wish I can turn back time and see and call him more. I really wish I could have seen him as his lively self, dancing as he always does at our wedding this Sunday, which he was SO looking forward to. Ya know, I didn't even realize, he was actually 84 years old! He looked SO young. Multiple myloma, pacemaker, heart bypass surgery, etc.... yet he lived like he was a teenager. Now he may need kidney dialysis God-willing he pulls through this. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pray your hardest for him. It would take a MIRACLE for him to be healthy enough to be with us on our wedding day (and that's not for selfish reasons... I want my loved ones there... and I can't imagine him not being there). But MOST importantly, I want him HEALTHY and comfortable and HEALED. I love him so much and I want him awake again so I can tell him that, even though I'm sure he knows it... sorry, just had to poor my heart out. Please keep him in your prayers.

And he will always be there...if hes here or not. My grandpa just passed, but he will still be at my wedding. The best of luck for a recovery.

Thank you for your words. I never knew my grandfathers, so he was pretty close to being one to me. I think that's why this is so painful.
