BEER Question

For 12 people how much beer would you get?

Waldbaums has this sale -

Bud, coors or miller 18 pack -$10

Corona, heineken - 12 pack $13

What do people usually like?

I was thinking 2 coronas, a bug and abud light? Is that too much, too little? bad distribution? let me know!

I really appreciate the help. I know I'm overthinking it, but I have so muh else going on, I guess I'm just channelling my anxiety into the aprty. I don't want anything to go wrong..plus I've never had a BBQ before. A dinner party, I would be all over And anyway Who better to plan a party, tahan LIW people! We all come on this site to plan the biggest party of them all!

yeah..being host = hard
i remember hosting my first dinner party with DW...it was great but its a ton of work and worrying something is wrong

You don't need Bud & Bud light.

I don't drink any of those beers, but Coors light is very popular with my friends.

I believe at our wedding (since we had to pick 3 beers) we had Sam Adams, Corona, & Coors light.

I agree. But don't forget to buy some fresh limes and cut them up for the corona...that's the best way to have them!

definitely agree! I don't really like limes in general but NEED limes with my corona

Stick with what's on sale. I think the way you have it should be fine. People will drink whatever is available to them, and if you run out someone can always take a beer run.
And don't forget, if they're that particular, they can bring their own!

This is my attitude too.

I would suggest from the sale list Coors light, Corona and Heineken (or you could do Bud in place of the Heineken). Like someone else said if people don't like what you have they can deal. I know I am kinda picky about beer and I always just bring my own.

buy what is on sale. People will go on a beer run. I don't care what kind of domestic I drink as long as it is COLD. have plenty of ice on hand. I would only get one import though. I would get Heinkein, then bud, then coors light. (or bud light)

ETA:How long is your party? I would figure 2 beers an hour.
