Hi ladies, I met with Laurie@ LABlossoms and am ready to book her. She showed me pics of her work and I brought photos of everything I wanted and she seemed pretty in tune with my vision. I am just wondering before giving a deposit should I ask for a sample of my bouquet/centerpiece or do I wait until before the wedding for one? Is getting a sample a standard thing?

In my experience, it seems they wait until you decide on colors, style, etc. closer to the wedding before they make a sample. With me, I was set on having a fall-themed wedding, now I changed the whole thing and am doing totally different flowers so that would have been a waste for me.
If it will make you feel more comfortable though before you book, you should ask her.

Laurie is amazing! I wouldn't worry one bit about booking her. She was the first and only florist that I met with.

I wish I had done that. I am not happy with my sample at all and it's only 51 days until my wedding and I am not confident in my florist.
