being bratty

I'm going to be a brat right now. SO I'm changing my wedding date b/c FH sister is prego and can't make it from NC casue she's due 3 weeks before the date. Her and her mother threw a huge fit 7 months before the wedding. Her husband, however, was trying to be very accommodating to the situation saying that maybe his parents can watch the baby (who are also invited but FH sister being there is a lil more important) so they can fly to NY in the morning and fly back at night or maybe there friend's can watch the baby or maybe they can rent a huge van with a tv and bed so she and the baby can relax but nothing was good enough for her. His mother pinned me and FH against each other saying that if his sister wasn't there and she wouldn't come either. After arguing for 3 months with him we finally made up a month ago and settled on June of 2009 (9 month push back). His family practically ruinned our relationship.

Fast foward to last night. FH comes home after work and tells me his brother in law's sister got engaged and we planning a fast wedding cause someone in her fiance's family is sick. The wedding will take place in DC. If they have it in one of the months that FH's sister said she won't be able to make ours but goes to her husband's sister's wedding, I will be giving her a piece of my mind cause I have kept my mouth shut to her and his mother for the last 4 months but this will be the last straw. The two of them have been nothing but selfish. GGGRRRRR!!!!!

thanks. btw, you're going to love the food at north ritz. we had a food tasting there and i'm picky with food but it was amazing. they also own the dinner next door where the food is pretty good as well.

any recommendations? we're going to do filet mignon for the steak but are still undecided on chicken and fish.

You're entitled to some brattiness in this situation.

the lamb chops were great. i don't eat fish but they had salmon and my parents and FH loved it. i don't remember what chicken they served but it was also good. be prepared to drink cause they put wine bottles on the table for the food tasting. everything was really good there.
