Me and my Fiance are planning to get married in NYC. We were wanting to do this on New Years Eve 2001 around noon, in Saint Patricks Cathedral on 5th Avenue.. Can anyone give me any advce on how we could do this. We are both from Belfast, Ireland

St. Patricks is VERY restrictive about who they marry. IF they will marry you, they are booked years in advance and the cost is EXTREMELY prohibitive. I live in NYC and when I say extremely, I mean WAAY expensive. You may want to visit their website or give them a call ASAP. Plus the fact that it is on New Years Eve is going to be an added major expense here in NYC as any possible reception location will be charging a premium.
