and I'm bored, so I thought maybe you'd like to play with me??

Finish this sentence:

Believe it or not...

Okay, I'm first.

Believe it or not, I was a movie extra as a kid and appeared (albeit very briefly, and in an aerial shot) in Ghost Buster's 2, and in HBO's Behind the Scenes with Michael J. Fox when he was filming The Secret of My Success.

Next...?

I finally got one...

Believe it or not I was in Atlantic City w/ my friends for a bachelorette party and Donald Trump walked in with his crew and my best friend caught him blatantly checking out my a$$!!

Re: BELIEVE IT OR NOT ~ I saw this on another board...

LisaRose - I'm a car buff too.

I almost bought a 64 1/2 mustang about 8 years ago. I truly regret it now. It was gorgeous. A guy was in the process of restoring it and ran out of money. All he wanted was his money back and I didn't take him up on the offer. The car was worth triple what he wanted for it.

We're always in the market for a new car. Actually picking ours up today!!!!!! A 2003 BMW M3 - I know we're crazy!!!!!

Nothing good to post in a believe it or not.

Believe it or not but my FI and my Grandfather (who passed away 22 years ago) have the same B-day. Also, I met my FI after my other Grandfather passed away. My FI's name is Michael and everyone says that God had to take my Grandfather away but gave me Michael my Angel.

Re: BELIEVE IT OR NOT ~ I saw this on another board...

OK I know this is a very old thread, but I was doing a search (on wedding stuff) and for some reason this came up. I think it's a fun thread and I can add to it, so.........

Believe it or not, I know JoshuaSaviano - he played 'Paul' from the Wonder Years, the geeky one that was friends with the main character.

He was a paralegal at the first law firm I worked at. This was the fall of 1998. He and I started the same day. He and I and 4 other people all spent the morning in HR going over benefits and stuff. We didn't talk that day but we did after that. I didn't recognize him or the name so for weeks I was clueless. Until one day someone said 'do you know who works here' and said his name and I said 'yeah, so what?' and they told me who he was. I could've smacked myself in the head because I just never put 2 and 2 together!

He became REALLY cute. He doesn't wear glasses and he's got the bluest eyes. I would see him a few times a week and we'd just b.s. about work...I never brought up his stardom.
He left after 1 1/2 or 2 years to go to either Harvard or Yale Law School.

Believe It or Not- at the age of 10 I fell out of a car moving at 35 mph as it was making left turn. I walked away with a few scraps and bruises. Glad to be alive, being the fact it was summer and was only wearing a tang top and shorts.

I have a pic for you, Lisa!

I have a '99 Cougar as well..but its not as nice as yours considering the 80 mile round trip to work on the Belt Pkwy (road sand, pot holes) in addition to parking in Brooklyn! I like yours a lot better than mine!

Re: BELIEVE IT OR NOT ~ I saw this on another board...

Hrmm..

Believe it or not,

I was born in Houston but they weren't sure if i was blind so I stayed in the hospital for 10 days then my father smuggled me on to an Air Force transport in a cardboard box to fly me to Cuba where the rest of my family was. (Gitmo Bay, Navy)

I am an extra in 'Selena' I really didnt care much for J.Lo or Selena for that matter. It's just that San Antonio LOVED her and they were giving out free coke and hotdogs at the field they filmed it in. (The outside concert) My best friend and I figured why not.

My other believe it or not's aren't so cheerful so I'll leave them off. heh.

PS: I, too, love my car. 93 MX3. I have gone to Carlisle for the past two years. This year it's in Harrisburg (got kicked out of Carlisle) but I can't make it (Saving for the wedding) and my car NEVER wins, I enter it as Non-compete just so I can park in on the field LOL!

This is a cool thread!

Believe it or not, I know Tony Bennett (through work), and got him to autograph the sheet music to FH's parents wedding song for their 29th anniversary!

Now if only I could get him to SING the song at my wedding...

OMG OMG!!!!!!
My FH & I are HUGE Tony Bennett fans!!!
We call ourselves 'Bennett-heads' b/c we go all over to see him perform. (We're always the youngest fans at his concerts)!
Is he free November 14th to sing us a song???? lol

I hung out with the cast of Fame (London production) in a pub called the King's Arms in London.....
Oh there are so many stories....... I should write a book

Now I just go home to DH every night

Believe it or not, I met Dave Matthews twice. I got his autograph and a picture with him too. I also met several other members of the band.

I interned at Bloomberg in 98 and met Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford, Olympia Dukakis, Trisha Yearwood, & Paul Rudd just to name a few!
