Belize, anyone?

Currently considereing Belize as a honeymoon destination.

Anyone been?

Where did you stay?

General impressions of the region as a honeymoon spot?

FH and I are looking for something quiet, in nature, on the water, and with absolutely NO all-inclusive, resort type feel. Unique and intimate is the way I keep wording the ideal location - whilst still remaining affordable, of course (Bora Bora would be nice, but there is no chance.)

That's where we're going. We'll be there in about 2 weeks. We're so excited!

We're spending a week there- half the time at the Victoria House on the beach in Ambergris Caye and the other half in the jungle at the Maruba Spa.

We booked everything ourselves- no travel agents. Had no problems booking it that way.

Me and FH went there last year. FM me for more details. Do not stay at Journeys End. Captain Morgans is really nice and a few other places. Let me know what you guys are interested in.

Victoria House is actually really nice I saw it when we went there. Beautiful.

wow-just checked both out and my heart is pounding - I think it is a sign!

Also looked at Blancaneux (Francis Ford Copollas Jungle Resort) and wanted to weep for happiness!!!
