Belize City/Yucatan..Chiapas Mexico

Has anyone hiked the Mayan trail in Mexico or travelled around the Yucatan peninsula? What about Belize City?

We're flying into Cancun (but we're not interested in the heavy tourism so we're heading straight out to other places).

I'm studying in Chiapas for two weeks, then DH is meeting me back in Cancun and we plan to travel for two weeks.

We also plan to dive a few times-any suggestions there?

Moira, Have never done it but would have loved to. I just wanted to say welcome back!! Haven't seen you in awhile!!!
