Alright ladies I have s on Bellarino.

What would happen if Phil has an emergency on your day. Who would he use as replacement? Would he waive tax if pay by cash? Anyone seen his new opening yet? I only saw the rose thing. The deposit will he work with you on it. My wedding is not till 2004 and I find it a bit much to put down half of the total amount so far in advance.
BTW he changed the DVD cartridge and cover. Well his wife did anyway. It looks like a DVD and not a CD. Haven't met his wife yet but through the phone she is wonderful.

I never saw there work before or really know about them but what i have heard on here.But i checked out wild rose video.They were great but i really didnt want a dvd so i booked the video through my DJ.If you have any doubts about bellarino check out wild rose everyone has nice reviews on them on here.

He was really hesitant to work out a cash deal with me which is only one of the reasons I passed on him. There were other reasons but MANY brides on here will differ with me. Good Luck!!

I have booked Bellarino video for my 2004 wedding. I have left him the 1/2 of the amount as a deposit. I did not hestitate since I trusted him and he has been in business for so long. I asked him about working with me if I paid cash. He did say that he does not do that. That was fine with me. One thing that I did like about him, was that when we went to sign the contract he told me that he forgot to mention that anything over a 5 hour reception is $100 OT, so since he did not mention it, he did not charge us the OT money. I thought that was very business like. I have not seen the new opening but he did tell me about it. Once it is completed, I am going to go by and check it out. There are alot of brides using Bellarino on here. You can check them all out. His wife Katie is wonderful. I am going to be using her for my favors. If you have any other questions, just ask.

Can someone e-mail his prices (if they don't mind). I really want to go meet with him. But I think that $100 OT over 5 hours is a bit much. Maybe I'm wrong. I haven't gone to see any videographers yet. How long do you girls plan on having the videographer with you?

His information brochure states coverage begins from the beginning of the ceremony till the cake cutting but I told him I want him to stay till the last dance and he said no problem with that. Which includes him arriving to the church an hour and a half before FH would arrive to speak with my priest and deacon. He films the inside & outside of the church and as FH and the guys arrive. He didn't tell me anything about the 5+ hours charge in overtime and it doesn't make any sense once I add up all the hours he would be filming my day.

He will stay until the end but if your reception is over 5 hours (since mine is going to be 6 1/2 hours) then he told me that there is a $100 OT charge. I am paying $1200 instead of $1300 for Package #3. Which package did you want?

He told me he would waive the OT, it was only a half hour but still I appreciated it. I am sure most companies charge for OT no?

I was incorrect in saying he will stay till the cake cutting. He does an interview at the end of the reception with the bride and groom.

i booked him as well- he did not say anything about leaving before the last dance-if he left after the cake cutting ceremony he would miss the Dances with parents, the Garter bouquet etc. I have to go call him on this

Spoke with Phil today. He said I was the third bride to call him regarding this misleading information. He stays until the end of the affair, also my contract states the hours of my affair.

The brochure says Cake cutting, bride and groom dance with parents, bouquet and garter throwing ceremony and interview with bride and groom at the end of the evening. I think there was a repost on this above Antoinette.

Wow! I got a little nervous also! Phew glad he stays until the end. I saw the new opening it is AWESOME! It is hard to describe, it has to do with pictures passing by slowly and then the opening. It is in an Elvis comercial that is on tv. Phil and Kate have been wonderful to work with. I think he has back up if there is an emergency. I know my friends dad used to do video , he has retired and he always had a back up person .

Hey guys just wanted to let you know that Phil called me today to clarify this whole thing, he is I guess touching base with all his brides, he stays till the end, no need to worry and the new opening is almost finished, just wanted to let you know this was a rumor I guess, he said interview with bride and groom takes place at the end of the reception, the real end.
