Have you ever seen this as the bride and groom exit the church? I want to have my guest ring bells instead of blow bubbles. The problem is I can only find bells that the card attached has to do with kissing during the reception....it says something like ....'the love that fills the room..' Anyone ever use bells and if not does anyone have any ideas? TIA

Please please please reconsider this, many animals can be hurt/killed by balloon releases, it's actually quite sad when you see pictures of it. There is also a town or state law that limits the amount of balloons that can be released at a time.

I've been to a wedding where they've done bells before and it's really nice actually! They had cute little silver bells and tied ribbon the color of the BM dresses around the top. There wasn't a saying or anything with them though, sorry about that!

If anyone is interested, I found 3 poems that you could attach to the bell to fit the purpose of the Bride and Groom leaving the ceremony:
No rice or seeds to toss up high when groom and bride are passing by but wedding bells rung strong and clear resound good luck to all who hear. So when the bride and groom depart to wish them joy as life they start ring this bell with all your might til the happy couple pass out of sight!
Ring this bell with all your might when the bride and groom take flight, Ring hard, ring fast, ring true and clear, wish them well for all to hear!
I'm a little jingle bell I'm here to wish the couple well! Shake me, ring me loud and clear When you see ________ & ________appear. My tinkling sound is here to convey Your love and good wishes on their special day! Bring me along to the reception too So they may share a kiss for you

Hi, we did these. We found the bells at JoAnn's and they did have a little tag on them, but I didn't like the saying, so we took the tags off and tied a ribbon on them with our names and wedding date (got the ribbon printed from beau-coup.com).
You don't need that tag, your guests will know what to do with the bell as they are handed them after church.

We're going to do them, here's a pic!! We got the bells at Target and the ribbon wands are actually drink stirrers from Party City that we spray painted. We also put lil heart stickers on to make them more 'festive'. We aren't going to add the poem tho, our guests will know what to do!!

My cousin went with noise makers instead of the bells - she went to a party store and bought a few bags of the plastic stuff in different varities, so people were blowing kazoos, shaking bon-bon's, blowing a whistle with streamers, etc. The pictures looked fantastic as they emerged from the church!!
