So i really want some extra entertainment to have going on during dinner, and I was thinking of a belly dancer since I'm greek I thought it would mesh well with the rest of the reception. EXCEPT my mom thinks I'm CRAZY and that it would just be weird
any thoughts? anyone else having extra entertainment?
I actually LOVE the idea, but not while people are eating their meals, is there any other time you can think of that will work? Maybe in the beginning, or maybe right before they bring out desert?

hmmm.... maybe between appetizer and dinner? is it annoying cutting into dancing time for guests?

do an afterparty with 1.. or like in the middle.. de fnot while ppl are eating..
i took fh to a greek rest in miami and they had belly dancers.. they came to our table shaking their lil tail feathers.. fh was sooooooooooooooooooooooo annoyed. he was bout to stab the girl with his fork. im like BABE PUT MONEY ON HER! hes like gtfooo im eating. i felt soo baddd.

lolol oh no! ive been to a few weddings where the entertainment came out during dinner ... but so maybe ill rethink that time slot haha

i am having a live singer perform rat pack/crooner (sp?) songs during the meals and throughout the reception (very italian thing) I LOVE the idea of a live performance!!!

I don't think it would be annoying, guests could dance at teh same time and in fact they could encourage your guests to try their hand at belly dancing. Or regualr dancing lol

to be honest... i think performers like that.. ie dancers. take away the focus from YOU and your FH and turns it to the dancer... i dont think it should be about them but rather you and your FH.. kwim?
