Belly Dancers

So i really want some extra entertainment to have going on during dinner, and I was thinking of a belly dancer since I'm greek I thought it would mesh well with the rest of the reception. EXCEPT my mom thinks I'm CRAZY and that it would just be weird

any thoughts? anyone else having extra entertainment?

I bellydance myself and wanted to surprise DH with a dance...yeah right, I would have been more stresse..lol...so I had a bellydance during cocktail hour. I think that was the best time.

haha thats so cool! Love the pics BTW!!!!! That seems like a good time to do it too, i just have to look at the cocktail room again in terms of space

Thanks; anytime! We used the dinner time to do the father/daughter and son/mother dances and cutting the cake. I didn't want to get in the way of guest dancing time

If I had disposable income I would do that myself...FH is greek, and I belly dance, so it would be a cool thing. I would never perform myself though!

I've heard a few prices and a few are not too bad mostly fall between $300 and $800

Depends on the dancer and how famous she is, but the average range is $250. It also depends how far out the bellydancer will have to travel, for the most part dancers don't charge when the travel within NYC or certain parts of LI.
