bermuda

does anyone have any information regarding a honeymoon in bermuda..we're leaning towards it but we're looking for an all inclusive..thanks in advance

yeah, we were considering bermuda also b/c everyone said it is a beautiful honeymmon place, but i have heard so many different reviews of the resorts there. we wanted something luxurious and on the beach. not sure if we want all inclusive.
any ideas anyone?????

we've heard its expensive that's why we want to do an all inclusive..i'm just not sure if they offer it..i know the cruise is beautiful but i've never been and i'm afraid of getting sick!!

We cruised to Bermuda in August 2002...It was my first time cruising & we were on the smallest ship (Princess Pacific Princess ie Love Boat) Both FH & I were fine...You are only at sea for 1 1/2 days...We opted for the cruise due to the expense issue in Bermuda...I can tell you from walking around the shops, it is expensive...I think a bag of potatoe chips was like $4 & that is an 8 oz bag...

ive been to bermuda but didnt stay at an all inclusive place.. it was the Southhampton Princess Hotel.. GORGEOUS! it's actually where my mom and dad honeymooned almost 30 years ago.

bermuda is fabulous...i would call a travel agent!

I've been to Bermuda twice on Celebrity Cruises out of NY. I took Celebrity ship Horizon once and the Zenith once. I loved it each time. Bermuda is such a beautiful place- very clean and the people are very nice. Celebrity is good option for couples seeking pampering and relaxation (it was not much of a party ship both times I went and has a lot of families going. I went with a group of 30 relatives and we had a blast).

I went in 2000 and 2002 and I think I paid around $1500 back then for everything. The ship only spends a day and a half out to sea each way, so you basically get 4 days in Bermuda on a 7 day itinerary. Celebrity makes stops in St. George and Hamilton, both good places to visit. GORGEOUS beaches. The water temp was great in July and should be good in June. My FH and I decided not to consider it as a HM choice for us because we weren't sure if the water temp would be warm enough and we like to swim and snorkel. Bermuda is basically at the same latitude as the Carolinas.

One last thing - if you are worried about seasickness, make sure you book a room away from the bow and towards the middle of the ship. There will be less motion. And I think the lower decks are slightly better than the upper decks for motion sickness too. Most people bring seasickness medicine - we encountered one night of rough seas out of the two times we went.
