what else are you using to 'decorate' your tables? ie: candles, rose petals, favors, etc...????
need suggestions....

We had rose petals around the base of the centerpiece, candles swirling up, and the favors also served as a bit of decoration..

Definately rose petals . . . .perhaps fancy confetti. I saw an idea once about photo confetti. I thought that was a cute idea. The only problem is. . . .I don't know the website address!

I used fall leaves (silk) scattered on each table. My centerpiece was surrounded by 3 tapers on each side in glass holders.
I also had my table camera in a wine colored bag (matched BM dresses) and full bottle of white wine favors on each table.

votive candles, possibly cameras, and since it is in September, maybe some fall foliage (they sell boxes of it in Pier 1!)

Petals, the votive place candles (hopefully they will keep them lit), cameras, and menus on each place setting. I think that is it.

we are using votives and petals as well as wrpaped boxes of the favors (they are xmas ornaments and everyone gets one!)

Besides putting the centerpiece, we were thinking of using different places that we have been for our table numbers. Like number one would be arizona (where we got engaged) maybe with a pic of us there, a little cactus, and an engagement ring. Just to add a little personalization

are most of you putting the favors on the table right from the beginning? you are not waiting till the end? won't the guests open them right away then- or does that not matter?
mine are going to be in those bags with the string to close the opening- they are made out indian sari. i guess the colors will go with one another. hmmmm.

Our flower centerpieces, handmade frames that have the table # in it, (Just trying to figure out how this will not be taken from tha tables by our guests, if anyone has any suggestions on how to do this tactfully , please let me know...) , and scattered personalized hershey mini chocolate bars.

I'm doing pillar candles, votives, and hydrangea in a bed of petals. Pillars in the middle surrounded by the votives which are in the petals and 1 stem of hydrangea in a miniature sweetheart vase with a bow which will be the favors.
