Best and 'Worst 'Wedding Gifts
So I was actually searching online last night for wedding inscription ideas and I came across a thread on another site of best and worst wedding gifts. Some of them were really funny, like really obvious regifts (with original card still in them), etc.
Please post the best and worst (and by worst, I mean funniest, most unexpected, most WTH? gift)? Let's start out the thread by saying that YES we appreciate ALL gifts, but some of them always leave us![]()
My most interesting so far was a shower gift I got. I don't want to say worst, but it was surprising.
It was from a HS friend. it was notes from HS (cute!!!), pictures of FH and I in HS (not us together, which would have made sense, but separately), and a teddy bear (10 years old, used) from our HS, which I had also had and had JUST thrown out before moving. LOL.
Another odd one that had my family shaking their heads, but made sense once explained was an elderly relative of FH who isn't coming who sent a $36 check. My family (not Jewish) was puzzled by the amount until I explained it was double chai.
Best was my MOH and her mom got me my Vera Wang toasting flutes which I did not expect to get and my mom's 2 best friends made me 2 amazing kitchen baskets.
