Best BBB and Macys for registering

What location is the best to register at BBB and Macys? I don't know which locations have the best selection for those wanting a wedding registry, which have the best service or area to sign up for those things. please give me your suggestions.

I registered at the BBB in Carle Place...I had a great experience!

Macys Roosevelt Field was VERY helpful! We also added stuff at Manhasset and they have a great selection and were less crowded, but the Roosevelt Field workers were better with getting started and provided us with lots of info about promos/gifts/etc.

Macy's in the city had EVERYTHING.

i think Macys in RF is one of the bigger stores

Wish I had registered at the BBB on 110 by Walt Whitman. I did the one in Bohemia, because its closest, but the one on 110 has so much stuff there.

we only registered for one thing and that was last weekend. We happened to be at Macy's in Bay Shore and checked out some china... the woman asked if we needed help and we said no, just looking.. but she followed us around and explained everything we GLANCED at.
she finally talked us into registering... which we really didn't want to... plus we were on a time-crunch... and she took FOREVER... then added some things we didn't even want on our registry, she QUIZZED us on our password and username then the next day when I went to log in... we didn't exist. I put in the email for it to send us our password.. thinking maybe I forgot a number... and it didn't have any record of our email... I tried a few days later, and then a few days after that and NOTHING. so I made my own, using the same email.

so... I would NOT suggest going there

I have heard that the BBB in westbury (by the source mall) has the largest in store selection! we are going to go there when we go! (although we have done alot online already!)

too bad they don't notify you when things get discontinued.

Farmingdale & West Babylon both say they mail postcards out to let a bride know however i have yet to be informed from Westbury BBB on 4 items that were discontinued.

I went to the BBB in Huntington on route 110 and the experience was amazing. We worked with Laura while we were there and she was so knowledgeable and helpful with EVERYTHING. She even took the fine china we chose off the shelf and slammed it on the counter numerous times to show us how strong and durable it is. As soon as I got home, I wrote BBB an email to let them know how great she was.

BBB in Westbury has the largest selection. The registry people could be really annoying so unless you want them following you around and dictating your registry, you need to stand strong and say that you've been living on your own and know what you need and don't need any help. They will then give you a tour and tutorials on some stuff and leave you alone.

For Macys, 34th St. is GREAT but if you're not familiar with that store, it might be overwhelming (home stuff is on like 4 different floors). Roos Field has a pretty nice and organized section, as does the one in Manhasset.
