My mom is coming down this weekend for our first round of dress shopping! I'm so excited.
I want to check out David's Bridal, and I've seen some reviews of the various shops on LI, so I wanted to pose the question to you ladies -
Which is the best David's Bridal shop on Long Island?

Definitely the one in massapequa. I didn't have the best experience at the one in lake grove. I left there crying.

I HATED the one in westbury, I went there a number of times and each time I had issues
I went to the one in lake grove and wasn't any more impressed... infact the woman that helped me 'CRIED' when I tried on dresses... telling me how beautiful I look and how she can't wait to see me on my wedding day..
the only issue I had with massapequa was that I called to make an appointment for BM dresses and was put on hold for 6 minutes, so I hung up and called back and the same girl answered and made the appt for me.. and when I got there she thought I said wedding dress and then informed me that two woman had called out and they were understaffed and asked if I wouldn't mind looking by myself- WHICH I actually prefer! and there was a woman in bridal who multi-tasked between a bride and myself. when the bride was in the fitting room she'd come to us and offer service.

massapequa just opened and its not in as busy of an area as westubury so they are probably more attentive

Definately Massapequa... I went to Westbury and what TERRIBLE SERVICE, me and my bridesmaid were getting dresses off the racks ourselves the girl helping us was no where to be found and when she decied to bring dresses she brought dresses that were 4 sizes to big and made me wait while she helped other people and that was during the week....

the selection seemed better in Westbury...I would vote for Westbury. Just avoid going on weekends because it gets really crazy packed at those times.

Def. Massapequa. The one is Westbury is a disaster compared to the one in Massapequa. Ask for Rosa, she is awesome!

Personally, I hate the one in Westbury! The service is really bad and the girls are not very attentive. Massapequa is much better.

I've only been to the one in Carle Place and it was for my BM dresses for my SIL's wedding. I didn't have a good experience. I hear great things about the one in Massapequa though!

I heard good things about Massapequa. I did everything at Lake Grove because I live close to there and everything was a nightmare....
