Best Dry Cat Food?

Looking for the best 'healthy' dry cat food on the market.

We'd been feeding our guy Iams .. several months back we adjusted from strictly Original Formula to Original + Senior (a 50-50 mix).

However, good old Iams had to go and mess with the Original formula again .. adding Fish Oil .. which has given our kitty severe tummy troubles.

We've stopped feeding him Iams .. and have been giving him boiled chicken til his tummy recovers .. but need to find a better food.

Iams has just been disappointing since hitting supermarkets .. they keep messing with their recipe formulas .. seems like all the time .. this was the last our boy could tolerate.

Any suggestions????

My kitties always loved the Innova and Nutro. Had to put them on a prescription food for a while now, but they loved it and they tolerated it well. One of them has a very sensitive tummy.

I bet your kitty is loving the chicken though!

Iams is so overrated. I had them on it as kittens, but it wasn't right for them.

My baby eats Nutro Natural Choice. Loves it, was vet recommended and is the only one he's eaten (since I weaned off yucky Iams at 3 months)...no problems! They make great wet pouches too.

My baby eats Nutro Natural Choice. Loves it, was vet recommended and is the only one he's eaten (since I weaned off yucky Iams at 3 months)...no problems! They make great wet pouches too.

That is exactly what we feed my cat and he also loves it!

Hubby & I are convinced it was definitely the newest bag of Iams that made kitty's tummy sick like never in his life.

He is officially off Iams .. maybe it was just that one bag .. bad batch .. but we absolutely do NOT want to chance it.

In such a hurry to find something else .. we decided on Purina One .. we had wanted to go with the Purina Naturals .. but didn't think the Chicken & Oatmeal was the best choice at the time because of the Oatmeal .. so instead we have him on the Chicken & Rice formula with Yogurt. Real Chicken is the #1 ingredient .. NOT chicken by-product, like Iams.

Our boy LOVES this food!!

My boys both eat Royal Canin Intense Hairball formula and they seriously fight for the food bowl like I'm giving them chicken or something! They LOVE it! And you can order from petfooddirect.com- they deliver and often have 20% off of all orders....
