Best flowers for August wedding - any suggestions and Photos Please

Please post the suggestions that you ahve for flowers for an august wedding. My girls will be in chocolate. thanks

My reception was July 31st and it was hot. I was told by many people that a lot of flowers will not hold up. My ceremony was also outside. Roses are cheaper than a lot of flowers and they do much better than other flowers I wanted, like hydrangea, lilacs etc.. I think pinks would look gorgeous with brown.

I had a mix of roses and other flowers/greenery. I got married mid August and it was very humid.

my girls will be in espresso dresses ~ i have not finalized the flowers yet ~ but we were thinking champagne colored roses...

mine was in august and we used roses. pinks and purples. girls wore sage.

I was told that if you use hydrangeas they have to be in the middle of the bouquet and they shoudl be fine - I am using pink roses and green hydrandea - the girls are in sage dresses with pink sashes.

A friend (gonzo23456) is having an August wedding and her girls are wearing brown...last I heard/saw she was going to use bright flower colors..I think she has some pictures in her profile. (hope you don't mind me telling this, Wendi )
