BEST Low Carb Cakes Ever!!!

If you havent been to this bakery- YOU HAVE TO GO!

Its on Merrick Road in Massapequa.

I just got their mini choc. chip muffins and brownies and they are soooo good. (Only 1 carb each )

They have cheesecake, occasion cakes and donuts too!!

Sugar and gluten free. My Mom got me hooked on them.

I used to pass by all of the time when I lived in Lindenhurst but I never went in. I always wanted to try them :(

Yes, well I'm trying.

My mom is on Atkins and is diabetic and STILL losing weight after being on it for months.

I would LOVE some recipes. I get so bored on it so its hard to stay on.

I was on for like 1 1/2 years. Lisa Hot air is on for about 3 years. We both have a ton of stuff. Netrition.com is the best place to order stuff from.

Yeah- low carb is the only thing that works for me. The dr. said something like I dont break down the carbs into sugar so dont metabolize them and they turn to fat.

Where do you buy almond flour from?

trader joes or netrition.com is where i bought most of my foods. The spongebob flaxseed muffins are really good and you can buy the sugarfree davincis syrup in Marshalls or on netrition.com

this was my all time favorite dessert to make

Low Carb Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. butter

4 oz. cream cheese

4 oz. heavy cream

5 Tbsp. peanut butter

2 packets of sweetener

2 LC chocolate bars

Directions:

Crust

Freeze pie plate

Melt 2 Tbsp of butter and at least 2 low carb chocolate bars in microwave for about 20-40 seconds.

Pour Chocolate in pie plate and put back in freezer

Peanut Butter Layer

Mix together with blender:

5 Tbsp of peanut butter

4 oz. cream cheese

4 oz. heavy cream

2 packets of sweetener

Spread over frozen chocolate

Top with whipped heavy cream.

Between the two of us, we probably know everything about low carb. lol

Like chrispar said, I've been on it for 3 years and I love it! I lost 70 pounds and will never go back to eating 'normal' except MAYBE when I'm pregnant.

Oh yea you MUST buy carbquik on netrition.com. That was a staple in my house. I made chicken cutlets with it, porkchops, eggplant parm, basically everything I would use breadcrumbs for plus you can make waffles and pancakes with it too!!!

this is great for breakfast or even dessert...

1/3 cup of low fat ricotta cheese
4 egg whites
1 whole egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
2 packets of splenda

shake it up really good
you can eat it with reddi whip, blueberries and/or strawberries etc

I put sugar free maple syrup on it for breakfast YYUUUMMMMMYYYY

it looks a little weird before you cook it and you have to be careful when you pour it on the pan...kinda have to use the spatual to control it, but the end result is suuuper good.....it makes about 6 crepes/pancakes.
