i know it is a far fetch, but does anyone know where i can look up some stuff to say in a best man speech, my FH is the best man in a wedding next week and he is freaking out because he does not know what to say, you know what i mean , how to say or like you know advice or something, he knows what he wants to say but he does not know how to say it , sorry if its confusing.

there is nothing set... it is totally what he thinks about the couple he is the only one that knows them (and you maybe) it doesn't have to be long but he is the best man for a reason even maybe crack a joke or two or just a serious manner it is entirely up to him

If you do a google search for 'best man speeches' you can find a lot more.

it's tradition, but he doesn't have to. He may be expecting to though- so let him know you decided to go without toasts, or your dad would like to say something instead, something like that.

When my two brothers got married they had each other as the best man and gave speeches. I am going to ask onew or both of my brothers if they want to give a speech at mine, maybe instead of my MOH (if she doesn't mind)

I am so nervous that our Best man is going to say something completely stupid and embarassing. My maid of honor and best man are going to give a speech together....I think thats what I would want.

my fh was a BM once and i got him a book called the Best Mans Handbook, it had a sample speech and a template for a good speech I found it at borders in the wedding section. He gave a great speech complemented and thanked all the right people

You can ask the 'next in line' to give the speach since the best man has so many other 'honors'. Or a special uncle or anyone else.
