We just launched the voting for Best of 2014 and we had to add an awesome prize into the mix! This contest is simple...all you have to do is go to the Best of 2014 voting page and vote for your favorite vendor(s) and then come back on this thread and reply and tell us one of the vendors you voted for and why. You can have multiple entries but only one vendor per reply. What will you win? The winner will receive an iPad mini!
This contest is open to both brides to be and newlyweds. Multiple entries are allowed but only one vendor per reply. Winner will be selected randomly from all the entries. Contest ends on midnight, January 31st.

I voted for The Woodlands for best catering hall because they were absolutely incredible on our wedding day. People are still raving about our wedding 2 months later!

I voted for FM Entertainment for best DJ. They played every song on my must play list and had the dance floor packed the whole night!

I voted for Mobile Delights for unique wedding vendor. The food truck was an absolute hit on our wedding day and Steve was really great to work with.

I voted for the Viana Hotel and Spa for best hotel. We had the best after party at the Viana and the hotel rooms were beautiful and clean!

I voted Black Dahlia for best florist bc Sheryl and her team did an AMAZING job on my wedding day. My bouquet is the prettiest I have ever seen!

I voted oksana for best makeup. Not only does she do amazing work, but she is so much fun to have around. Everyone raved about their makeup and it stayed on for 2 days (i forgot facewash!! eeww)

I voted Flowerfield for Reception-Suffolk County. It is a beautiful venue an the food is out of this world. The ambience is so unique. I also like that its location is set away from major roads so traffic noise is not an issue for an outdoor ceremony.

I voted LI Sound for DJ. Have never been to a wedding were they were anything less then awesome! When we went to see them at the office they were so easy to work with and made everything we wanted fit into our budget. We cannot wait to dance the night the night away with them on our big day with all our friends and family!

I chose Lighthouse for photography. Since the minute we stepped foot in their studio they have been nothing but pleasant, professional, and accommodating. We had a BLAST taking out engagement pics and LOVE how they came out. Without Monica and Luis' input and direction they would not have come out so awesome. We can't wait to see what they come up for our wedding day as we are sure it will be stunning!

I voted for Macy's for bridal salon. I was DREADING going dress shopping. My mom and I had just stopped in to browse and they were able to accommodate me and have someone help me try on dresses. Well 2 hours and 11 dresses later we walked out dress AND veil ordered! I felt no pressure to purchase. Even after I tried on the dress we thought was 'the one' she had me try on more cuts because she knew it was my first go round and wanted me to experience literally every cut of wedding dress that ever crossed my mind. Then when I was back in 'the one' and was discussing it with my mom and 'said yes to the dress' we both cried and the lady helping us got teary eyed. Then, all the employees came over with tissues for me and my mom and started blowing bubbles lol. Buying my dress was the most perfect day and thus far has beenone of my top wedding planning moments and best moments ever with my mom and thats all thanks to the knowledge and professionalism of the Macy's staff!

I voted for Fade to Black! They are hands down our favorite vendor! Gil and his entire team are AMAZING!! Such great people. Working with them was great and we love our photos! Can't wait to see our video which I know will be amazing as well!

I voted for our amazing reception hall The Swan Club! Our wedding ceremony and reception was amazing! Everything turned out beautifully! The grounds are gorgeous! The staff, especially our MD Agim and BA Rebecca were great! All of our guests had a great time and raved about the food!

I voted for Ultimate Sound DJs! We had Raul as our MC and he did a great job. Our DJ (forgot his name :-/) did a great job with the music. He played exactly the types of music we wanted and kept everyone, including us on the dance floor all night. We also got a percussionist and he did a fab job as well!

I voted for The Crescent Beach Club for best wedding venue in Nassau. The entire grounds and building are picture perfect and Matt is incredible to work with.

I voted for Sassy Glitter Events for best coordinaor-day of. Kelly and Nicole were lifesavers the day of, and leading up to, the wedding. I couldn't have done it (sanely) without them!

I voted for audreys bakery for best cake.... It was the most beautiful and moist cake I've ever eaten. They are making a mini replica of our cake for our upcoming anniversary. Yay
