OK...sooo, if you remember I posted yesterday about which BM dress I should pick. One was cream and the other was light blue. The response was OVERWHELMINGLY to pick #2, and I went back and tried #2 on myself and you know what, I love it, it's light weight (I'm getting married in August) and #2 is the winner!!!!!!!!!!
Now, I do NOT want to get it at Macy's (which is where I've been trying it on). The price is high and the girl who helped me was rude AND she lied to me about the colors the dress comes in.
Assuming I can get this dress at any bridal place (even if it means ordering it....) - where would you girls go? I know RK Bridal is cheap, but most of my BMs are on Long Island and I'd rather use a Long Island store. So, if anyone can name a place with good service and prices comparable or a little higher than RK Bridal, I will love you forever!!!!!!!!!!!!

i went to phyllis form bridal elegance .... i am pretty sure she guarentees lowest pirce i got my BM dresses for 77 dollars less from there .. i also got my dress for a lot cheaper there too ...she located in dix hills

I got every single dress from Macy's in Manhasset (mine and all my BM's). No one was rude at all, in fact they were very helpful, that's where I was going to recommend. My dress came out perfect and the other girls for the most part didn't need any major alterations... the only one that needed a lot was my MOH b/c when we went to pick out the dresses she had a baby a month earlier... by the time of the wedding, she was down several sizes. I even got my BM dress there when I was a BM in my sister's wedding. I had no problems in the end.

Yeah this was not Macy's Manhasset - it was Macy's Smithhaven. I do feel, however, that the dress at Macy's was really overpriced. It's a dessy dress and it was priced at $240. Another bride got a Dessy dress and she shared with me her pricing when she called around. Her dress was also around $240 at Macy's and it was about $200 at Bridal Reflections, and then even less than that at the other stores.

I know you want somewhere on LI but we went to Maid to order in Brooklyn & they are the best. The girls are so helpful. The prices are a little more than RK bridal but they have a $40 cap on alterations. When we told them we saw the dresses cheaper somewhere else they took $30 off each dress so some places negotiate if you try.

it depends on the deginer i would just call her and ask ... i am ordering my girls dresses by the end of this week
