Best place to try on BM dresses

I just went to The Wedding Center n Commack. They had a great selection but the people aren't the greatest. The 3 women 'working' were all sitting around discussing recipes and never once offered help. When I went to ask for color charts, they didn't even stop their convo right away.

The up side is that I found alot of ideas for my girls. The other place I would suggest is RK Bridal in NYC. It's a hike but again, huge selection.

And FYI, with the more expensive places like Bridal Reflections, The Wedding Center will beat their price if you tell them you saw something elsewhere. They can also order it for you even if they don't carry the samlple.
The money you save leaves you dealing with rude salewomen but I'd rather deal with them than have my girls pay for overpriced dresses they'll wear once! JMO

I also recommend the Wedding Center. I agree, the sales ladies can use customer service training 101, but I kind of liked that they left my MOH and I alone. They have a ton of dresses and they're in alpha order by designer. I ordered a BM dress from them 5 years ago and it was a pleasant experience overall, EXCEPT I had my shoes dyed (sp) there and they gave them to another girl in a totally different BP, so it took a few hours to track them down.

I was also told that they beat any price even if they don't carry the dress. I am probably ordering MY gown from their. The ladies in the bridal section are much more attentive!

Cathy's in Lindenhurst has a huge selection and very good prices. My BM's got their dresses there and everything went well.

Bonaventure in Garden City also has a nice selection.

I was in a wedding in May and I think Bridal Suite in Bayshore and Patchogue had a good selection as well as Macys Bridal Suite in Lake Grove.
One note on the Commack Wedding Center, every time I have been there on a weekend it has been a mad house. Personally i wouldnt go for that reason.
