Ladies, I want to start doing my DIY's (menus, programs, favor tags, unity candle, etc) and want to know where you have found the best price on cardstock.
I will need chocolate brown, sky blue, and white cardstock for my various projects.
Also, if anyone can help me with the lb. that I should look for (like for the menus so they are stiff enough, not flimsy - and for the program covers so they are stiff).
Thanks!!!

Re: Best price for cardstock - where?
I get most of my card stock from stampin' up, but sometimes I find a good sale at AC Moore or michael's but make sure it's good like 67lb or better. Some stuff can be flimsy when you get it home. I know stampin up stock is 80lb and good and stiff! (hehe, sorry I got a dirty mind!) Once , I bought white stock on sale at Michael's and when I got it home it was crap! I gave it to my daughter. Good Luck happy shopping!

Michaels or try a teacher supply store (there is one in Bay Shore & St. James) and one in the shopping center where the Farmingdale Movie Theater is on 110

Re: Best price for cardstock - where?
I got most of my carstock from AC Moore which was like 25 cents a piece, but my mom just got me a bunch more when it was on sale and it worked out to be like 15 cents.

AC moore, micheals, but really go to papermart in farmingdale on 110. It really is made for that type of stuff. Pearl Paint sells large sheets but you can ask them to cut it down possibly for you.
Great prices, you can buy in bulk (100 - 80lb. ) or by the pack to try it out. They sell cover sheets and text sheets (which could be used for the inside of your programs). They have a great selection of colors too. They have Chocolate Brown & lot's of blues to chose from. You can see my DIY projects in my album. I used Brown & Ivory. They also have great turn around time.
