We are thinking of doing a Sandals Jamaica (most likely Ochos Rios or Montego Bay) and are wondering when is the best time to go? I am a teacher so I have the option of going during the Christmas break (right after the wedding), February break, April break (sping break) or during the summer. I think it is the least expensive to go in the beginning of July but I am worried about hurricanes.

Check to see when 'rainy season' could be - a lot of times the fall in the caribbean equals rainy season. And I wouldn't go between late July and November due to hurricanes. The Caribbean is pretty risky then!
That being said, I went to Thailand and Hong Kong on my honeymoon during 'rainy season' and it didn't rain once the entire two weeks we were there!

DH and I are going in the end of April for our 1 year anniversary and we were told by a friend that's the ideal time. So it works out for us

The rule for the Caribbean is... our Summer in New York is usually their rainy Season.
