I'm getting married in August 09' and wanted to know how far in advance should I pick out the BM dresses? I have gone to a few places, with no luck and will prob look again after the holidays. I don't want to procrastinate too much though! Does it take a long time to get BM dresses, like the wedding dresses?

i was told like 5 months. but mine is in july, and i havent even started looking.

they told me like anywhere from 6 or 7 months, but I'm sure if you do it 5 months ahead, they'll be there with time to spare!

I was told to order mine by Jan and my wedding is in Nov- so some of my girls have gotten measure but I still have a few that need to get measured.

i would pick them out as soon as you can because it takes a while to get everyone's measurements and then it takes a while to order them
