I'm DIY'ing the direction cards for my invitations...they're pretty simple to photocopy, but I need to cut them in half.
Any suggestions as for best way, machine, or printing place to take them to for cutting?
Thanks!

Re: Best way (or machine) to cut paper?
I bought one of those large paper trimmers at Michaels. It's actually Martha Stewart brand in the scrapbooking section of the store. It's a plastic base grid, clear attached ruler, with a tiny sharp pointed blade. Not the greatest for $25, but I got it with a gift certificate.
I printed our direction cards & such BEFORE cutting on paper that fit into my laser printer. I used PowerPoint, so I just drew a straight line down the page, changed its color from black to the lightest gray possible as a guideline to cut, and printed them that way.
Then I made sure I had very good lighting and went ahead with the paper trimmer to cut the sheets. Haven't had a problem yet.

Thanks, that is very helpful. I have a gift card to Staples, so I'll look for something similar there.

I am using one from acmoore. But staples has a machine that cuts through a huge stack at a time. I think it is $2.00 a side.

that way every page will be exactly the same. if you are cutting it directly in half then u really have to make sure all your wording is lined up currectly & they are cutting down the middle, otherwise the 2 sides will be different.
Go to kinkos to have them cut. They do it by machine where they enter in the measurements so it is precise. You have to go to a large kinkos though, I use the one by Roosevelt Field because all of them dont have the machine. Staples is cut manually, so the employee does it & can make errors.
